Celebrating Two Spectacular Years of Extentia in the Merkle Circle
Extentia celebrates two years of integration with a festive wedding-themed extravaganza.

Extentia, a leading global technology consulting and software development company, marked two incredible years as part of the dentsu-Merkle family with an unforgettable M.2 (Merkle.2) celebration, held at the Extentia Tower in Pune. The event, themed around a traditional Indian wedding, was a vibrant and joyous affair that brought together Extentians and partners, both in person and online from around the world.
Throughout the day, Extentians and guests enjoyed a variety of wedding-themed games and mini-events, a vibrant photo booth that captured colorful memories, and an array of delightful treats from kulfi, chaat, and popcorn stalls. Everyone was dressed in appropriately festive garb, adding to the celebratory spirit. The evening was dedicated to a fun and informative town hall meeting at Extentia’s XEN LAB, with attendees being welcomed with a traditional tilak (ceremonial mark).
Komal K (VP, Business Development, Extentia) graciously hosted the event, while Naazneen Boocha’s (Chief Delivery Officer, Extentia) inspiring opening speech set an optimistic tone for the future. The highlight of the event was the series of keynote speeches from the leaders of Extentia, dentsu, and Merkle. Jim Butler (Americas Head of Experience & Commerce, Merkle), Michael Princi, and Navin Dhananjaya (Chief Solutions Officer and Global CXM Lead, Dentsu Global Services) shared their experiences. Navin’s analogy to Pune’s iconic Shaniwar Wada beautifully illustrated the strong and enduring partnership between the teams, while Umeed Kothavala’s (Director and Chief Experience Officer, Extentia) unique and humorous approach added a special touch, emphasizing the importance of Extentians' thoughts and feelings about the integration.

Speaking about the integration journey and the wedding theme, Umeed Kothavala said, "It's been an incredibly fun two years. You've heard so many of our colleagues share that experience with you, and the reason we are able to stand here and celebrate is because everything has gone so well. The reason that we're able to do this, in really a fleeting amount of time is because we've genuinely had fun. The 'Big Indian wedding' is not about the couple coming together. It really is about two families coming together. So when we stand here two years later, this is a 'Great Indian wedding,' because the families (dentsu-Merkle-Extentia) have come together and succeeded so well."
The Dance Extentia Dance (DXD) performers dazzled the audience with their energy and talent, while Suhas B’s enchanting shayari (poetry) captivated everyone. An interactive Menti session, led by Khushi K, added a fun twist, engaging everyone with quirky questions and answers. Komal closed the event with a heartfelt poem, bringing the celebrations to a perfect end.
In addition to these festivities, attendees enjoyed a video that highlighted our journey and milestones over the past two years. The teams look forward to many more opportunities to celebrate successes in the future.
