Extentia Information Technology (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors (“you”, “your”) to our websites (“Website”). This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing Personal Information, which you may share with us for accessing the Website. We do not sell, rent or trade your Personal Information under any circumstances. This Privacy Policy is an electronic record in the form of an electronic contract being compliant and construed in accordance with data protection laws of the jurisdictions such as The Indian Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 under The Information Technology Act 2000 (“Privacy Rules”) that require publishing of privacy policy for the collection, use, storage and transfer of sensitive personal data,  the UK Data Protection Law (means the UK GDPR, the United Kingdom Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and any regulation superseding any of the foregoing) and the European Union (“EU”) general data protection laws (“the GDPR”).   

1. What data do we collect

We collect your Personal Information when you contact us on the Website or simply browse the Website; this is done with the help of the cookies used on our Website (further described in section 3 below). To get in touch with us through the form available on our ‘contact us’ page, you are required to provide us with your name and e-mail address. We may collect, use, store, and disclose information about individuals which may constitute Personal Information under the various laws and regulations where Company operates. Domain names, IP addresses, and browser types from people who visit our Website may be tracked. Personal Information shall also include email address, domain name, IP address and browser types of the device you use to connect to the Internet or any other information which may be tracked.

4. How long do we retain your data

Company has its presence in the India, US and EU through its regional sales or delivery centers. Information we collect might be processed outside these countries at a secure center. 8. Information Security and Due Diligence

Your personal data is stored by Company on its servers, and/or on the servers of the cloud-based database management services. To help protect the privacy of data and the Personal Information transmitted through the use of the Website, or while interacting with any of our executives, we maintain physical, technical and administrative safeguards. We update and test our security safeguards on an ongoing basis. We restrict access to your personal data to those employees who need to know that information to provide benefits or services to you. In addition, we train our employees about the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your information. Although we provide appropriate firewalls and protections, we cannot warrant the security of any Personal Information transmitted which is beyond the Company’s control. Data pilferage due to unauthorised hacking, virus attacks, technical issues is possible, and we will take necessary measures to mitigate such events. . You are required to be careful to avoid “phishing” scams, where someone may send you an e-mail that looks like it is from us asking for your Personal Information.

Residents of the European Union (“EU”) and United Kingdom (“UK”) should note that this Privacy Policy has been updated in accordance with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) and the UK GDPR, the United Kingdom Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and any regulation superseding any of the foregoing (“UK Privacy Laws”). As per the provisions of the GDPR and UK Privacy Laws we shall be considered the Controllers of the Personal information collected as a result of your use / access of the Website and Processors of the Personal information collected as a result of your use / access of the Website.

Governing Laws: For any EU and UK residents, this Privacy Policy shall be governed respectively by the provisions of the GDPR and UK Privacy Laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

Company shall not be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, incidental or consequential, and all liabilities (including negligence, loss or damage such as loss of revenue, unavailability of system or loss of data) and for use of or inability to access the Website or the services offered by Company or to provide indemnity or any other remedy to you or any third-party.

 

11. Disputes

Any dispute arising between you and Company shall be governed by the laws of India Any dispute arising, between you and Company shall be submitted to the arbitration to be conducted in Pune, India in English language, in accordance with the rules of Arbitration and Conciliation Act of 1996, by a sole arbitrator (appointed by us), and the award made in pursuance thereof shall be binding on you and us. Subject to the arbitration provisions, you agree that the courts in Pune, India shall have an exclusive jurisdiction over such disputes.

From time to time, we may make changes to this Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to amend the Privacy Statement and Conditions of Use at any time, for any reason, without any notice to you, other than the posting of the amended Privacy Statement and Conditions of Use at this site.  Hence, we request you to check our site frequently to see the current Privacy Statement and Conditions of Use that is in effect and any changes that may have been made to it.
